Update time!!!

Wow, haven't updated this sucker in a while... So, here's the condensed version of everything that''s been happening to me!

Let's start with a rhetorical question: Why do I only seem to get sick on the weekends? I'll spare you the gross details, but for a day and a half all I could keep down was rice and both. Plus, I was stuck in bed sleeping most of the time, so if you didn't hear from me over the weekend that's why. Interesting side note though, one of the sentences for my vocabulary homework the previous day was, "The lingering illness enervated Theresa, resulting in a lengthy period of convalescence." For those of you who aren't suffering through my curriculum, 'enervate' means weaken and 'convalesce' means recover. As for who Theresa is, that''s anybody''s guess.

Second: public humiliation. Always fun. Again, I don't really want to go into all of the details, but long story short, my mom made some rather loud comments in the teen section of the library about how retarded all of the other kids looked. God, I wanted to die right there to escape the humiliation!!!

And lastly, painting. Not the artsy kind, but the awful out-in-the-sun-all-day, masking-tape-and-paint-cans kind. Not to mention I will have to paint again tomorrow, to cover up some of the drips from when my brush dripped while we were staining the new deck last week. Ugh... I still have eggshell white under my fingernails...
