Ahem. Please excuse the title. I'm just a little but over excited because I FINALLY GOT A DECENT PHOTOSHOP!!!!!!!!!
Allow me to explain.
I have been working for the past 31 days using the 30 day trial of Photoshop Cs3 from the Adobe website. At about day 5, I decided I liked the software and on day 12 started looking into buying it. Then I fell off my chair at the price. After several days of research (imposed by my mom), I found a factory-sealed box with everything in it on Amazon for around 400 bucks (still expensive, but better than 700). After looking into the seller, discussing it with my parents, and such, we went ahead and ordered it.
And now, we wait.
And wait.
And wait.
And wait.
In the meantime, I was recruited to a 3d project which has been occupying most of my time lately (the reason I haven't been working on my requests). I'm not allowed to give any details at the moment, but hopefully when we do our first public release soon I can share some links or something. Anyway, I was finally ready to start texturing my ****s, when my trial ran out (no, I'm not modeling bad words, I just don't want to reveal anything yet. Oh, the suspense!)
OH THE HORRORS!
I went back to Photoshop Elements 3 for a looooooooooooooooooooong 6 hours, and got nothing done, because I was always like 'hey that's not supposed to do that' or 'where is that cool tool I always use?' because in the span of 30 days, using the newest version of Photoshop had become second nature.
The mail was, of course, late that day. -_-'
But it came, and that's what counts, right?
Wrong.
I found the serial number and entered it.
'This copy of Photoshop CS3 Extended has been activated on the maximum number of computers. Please deactivate one copy before activating this one.'
Paraphrased a bit, but that's the gist.
I'll skip over the half hour of crying, threatening the seller in my head, and basically being a little two-year-old.
Fast forward to my moment of infinite wisdom: The trial was for Photoshop Cs3 EXTENDED. The one I bought was regular CS3. Total *headdesk* moment there.
10 minutes to uninstall.
5 to reinstall.
20 seconds to enter the correct serial number.
30 seconds for the stupid activator to work.
All seemed longer than the wait for the mail.
Then, I had full access to the most advanced image editing software in the world.
My reaction was simple:
WOOT!!!! *runsaroundhousescreaming*
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some ****s to texture.
Allow me to explain.
