Minnie Lyn shuddered from the pain and snuggled her frail body into the quilt, gazing up at Zim. She coughed, tears going down her cheeks as she looked at him.

“I know it hurts,” Zim murmured sadly, wiping her crystal like tears. He rester his chin in his arms on the side of the crib. “You'll be alright soon, little Lyn.” 'Little Lyn' was an affectionate nickname the infant was known by from Dib, and very rarely Zim. Zim didn't really call anyone by their nicknames, even though the family was refered to as many, Talia; 'Tal' or 'Tali', Minnie Lyn; 'Mini Minnie' or 'Little Lyn', and GIR.....well, there wasn't really much nicknames for 'GIR.' Zim did, however, refer to Dib as 'Dibby' sometimes when trying to provoke or anger him. (And that was a good way to)

GIR snarled, crouching slightly and glaring towards the voice – wherever it was. “Y-you leave us alone!” He wasn't going to be scared by the ghost; it wasn't going to harm him and he wouldn't let it harm his family. “You can't hurt us!”

Can't I?</i> The voice was as black as smoke, and billowing as fog. It held a bloody edge to its voice, and a tone that warned all that came near. No one will believe you...</i> The choking dark smoke wrapped GIR in a vice grip, mockingly carressing the android's face with cruel cold fingers. You can't protect them from me, child... no bother trying. I'll finish you off</i> it droned, I'll finish you all off... I'll start with that stupid little green mold..</i>

“NO!” GIR raged tearfully, hurling a large pillow at the direction of the fog. “Leave Master alone-!” He began throwing whatever he was able to get his hands on, pillows, lamps, toys, ornaments..

CRASH!</i>

SMASH!</i>

THUD!</i>

Zim's antennae flattened against his skull from the loud assault to the sensitive 'antennae drums' as a series of crashes shook the house.
