Giving a shocked gasp, Oogway quickly hurried up to the young raccoon girl and knelt down beside her. "How did she..?" He shook his head. "How did she get here?" He gently rolled the young raccoon on her side; she was all bloodied. "Oh, no." Is she alright? He felt her pulse, it was beating, thankfully. Oogway sighed. Akimi's watering can can wait....but this girl can't! He got to his feet with the raccoon girl in his arms; and he made his way towards the steps that led up to the palace. "I hope I can fix this.."
"Did you get my watering can?" Akimi asked as she rushed up to him. "..! That's odd, I don't remember my watering can looking like a raccoon..."
Oogway shook his head. "I found this girl in the Forest of Tranquilty, she needs immediate medical treatment. Your watering can will have to wait.
Akimi sighed. "Fair enough, is she alright? What happend to her?"
"I wish I knew...it looks like she was attacked."
"Well, I'll help all I-"
"LIN LIN!!??"
Oogway spun to Shifu, eyes wide. "You know her?"
The cub had tears in his eyes. "Yes, ohh! Is she okay??"
Oogway inhaled awkwardly. He couldn't lie to his student... "Umm, well, she's not dead..?"
Shifu glared at him. "That's it?! That's all you can say is: "she's not dead"?!"
The old tortoise sighed. "Well, I don't know. I don't know if she's okay..."
Shifu sniffed. "She was another friend from my village."
Oogway sighed. "Of course she was.."
The red panda stroked the fur on Lin Lin's head. "We should lie her down.rm
"We should. Hold on a second, I need to check the damage." The old tortoise inspected her, thoughtfully. "Poor dear.." He murmured. "I can tell she was attacked."
Lin Lin!" Shifu exclaimed. His eyes were wide with horror. "What happened to her, master?"
"Hard to say, Shifu.." Oogway said with a sigh. "It looks like she was attacked...."
"Attacked?! Is she going to be alright?" Tears quivered in the cub's eyes.
Oogway hesitated, then got down on one knee and hugged him. "I don't know Shifu, I'm doing all I can, but she's really hurt."
Shifu sniffled and prayed to the heavens that he wouldn't lose Lin Lin.

Shifu gave a collective gasp. "B-by what?"
Oogway gave an irritated sigh. "I don't know.. I'm guessing either one of Giao Xun's STUPID men that seem to constantly patrol the Forest of Tranquility!" His voice rose in anger, like it always did when Giao Xun was involved in something. "I wish they would leave-us-alone!"
Shifu sniffled and turned back to Lin Lin. "Will she be okay?"
Oogway couldn't answer that; so instead, he carefully laid Lin Lin down. "I'm going to need some gauze to put on those wounds."
Shifu hopped up instantly. "I'll get it!" He yelled, and ran out into the bathhouse as quick as he could.
The old tortoise blinked in surprise at Shifu's sudden burst of speed. But then, his friend was involved so obviously he'd be quick.
Oogway carefully cleaned out all of Lin Lin's cuts and lay the young raccoon on a blanketed sleeping mat.
"Nnn..." Lin Lin turned over on her side.
Oogway smiled. "It looks like she's come to.."
Shifu frowned. "Come to what?"
Oogway just stared at him for a moment, before shaking his head. He leaned over and gently jiggled the child by the shoulder. "Lin Lin.."
The young raccoon girl opened her eyes. "Nn...!" She yawned and sat up, it was difficult to do wearing bandages. "..! Shifu!"
The cub gave a joyous cry and threw his arms around her. "Lin Lin!"
The raccoon blinked. "What's going on?"
Oogay chuckled. "That's what I want to know." He smiled warmly. "How are you feeling, dear?"
Lin Lin gave a groan of pain. "It hurts.." She sniffled.
Oogway gave an understanding nod. "I figured that much. Where does it hurt?"
"....My side and my chest. All places where the bandages are." She started to cry. "It hurts-it hurts! Where is my mama? I want my mama! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
Oogway was frantic. "D-don't cry, dear!" He patted her back. "Lin Lin, shh.."
Shifu smiled at her. "Your mama is probably back at our village!"
Lin Lin stopped crying. "Really?"
Akimi hesitated. "Either that, or she drowned in the tsunami."
Oogway shot her a frantic glare. "Akimi!"
Lin Lin's breath came fast. "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"
Everyone winced and shut their eyes.
"Ieee...." Oogway sighed. "I'm going to have to replace the windows again.." He continued patting her back soothingly, didn't really work.
"Lin Lin, don't cry!" Shifu wailed. "You're mama is safe in our village, remember?" He then, sniffled. "I know my mama is not.."
Oogway quickly stuffed a melon bun in Shifu's mouth to quiet him. They couldn't upset Lin Lin anymore then she already was. "Now, now, dear. Don't cry."
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"
"Please?" Oogway pleaded. He hesitated, before propping the tiny raccoon up on the pillow. "why don't you drink some water, dear?"
Lin Lin's sobs quieted as she sipped some well water from a tiny crystal cup. "That was nummy! The most delicious water I've ever drinked!"
Oogway laughed. "Well, we do have pretty tasty well water here."
Lin Lin smiled and cuddled up to Shifu's side. "The blankets are fuzzy and warm, too."
The old tortoise grinned. "We have the best blankets here, too."
Risu popped out, holding out a bun. "And the best melon buns!"
Lin Lin's eyes lit up.
