Well. I can honestly say that this is the first summer I have experienced that didn't (and I say didn't because it will be ending soon) feel a damn thing like summer. I've been busy busy busssy. A lot of that business is due to...
a club basketball team I joined (total waste of money by the way. If I had known the coach had a daughter on the team who was the same position as me and would always be played above me and stealing my valuable playing time and- ....*sigh* No, Faith. No ranting about such terrible topics. Case in point, I lost approximately 1,000 dollars of my own hard earned cash.... God knows what I could have saved that money for... On the plus side, I guess you could say, I got to visit Chicago and North Carolina... .... Ya, no. t still sucks.)
my job (been trying to get as many hours as possible... so I guess that one's my fault. I was just away at so many tournaments and camps- and they all cost so much money! I had to somehow make up the difference so I didn't have to work so much during school. Really wasn't any use though.)
college searching (Don't even get me STARTED *facepalm*
and finally, just pretty much living. (We had another family stay with us for a whole month while they tried to find a house. Aren't we charitable... And who's room shall they be staying in? Ding ding ding! You guessed right! Without my bedroom I've been having a hellish time staying focused on ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. The family is nice, dont get me wrong, and I'm happy to be of service, but... I'M STILL TOTALLY STOKED TO SLEEP IN MY OWN BED AFTER THEY LEAVE ON WEDNESDAY!!! I had been in Chicago for a week when I was told the news that they'd be staying there. I'd been looking forward to going home to my nice, comfy, queen sized bed and sprawling all over it after sleeping on the hard motel mattresses and trying not to bump into my team mate who was sharing the bed with me.... *sssigh* Anyways, things will get better soon. then I'll finally be more organized and my brother (who I'm staying with in his room) can stop yelling at me for having my stuff all over his room....)
Well, was that a good enough rant for you? I think so. Oh yes- and... well, I don't know why I'm mentioning this... perhaps just to make this the most accurate updating rant possible: I broke up with my boyfriend! Single. Single. Single am I. And I'm JUST FINE. Now I can go back to being nostalgic about my old school. Just like the good ol' days. When my brain wasn't fogged with the illusional mist of lovey-dovey wishwash (what does that even mean???). I needed to focus. And I couldn't have some boyfriend tying me down when I'm about to go off to college. Theee End. God, I'm insensitive... :P
And that is it! The rant of all rants! (Well... not quite. I've ranted more.) So I guess that for those of you who cared- congrats on reading it all? .... now what? .... you want a prize? Just give me aaaall of your credit card information and I'll make a transfer! :3 .... JUST KIDDING. Seriously, don't send me, or anyone, that information... please. I do actually have a prize for you though! Isn't it lame when people hand you virtual cookies? It's like, you say "Yay! Thanks" but really you're thinking "*sigh* Now I'm hungry and I want a REAL cookie.*

Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand using a wooden spoon. Drop cookie dough 1/4 cup at a time onto the prepared cookie sheets. Cookies should be about 3 inches apart.
