EGADS! HERE IT IS....the ART PROJECT! O_o

Behold, puny humans, teh Mighty Art PROJECT!

...Don't be fooled by this thing. It is HUUUGE. Higher than a person, and large as 2 and half with spread arms, this colorful and miscellanous-y art piece was done for school. It took my two friends and I more than half of the school year to finish it.

The PROJECT was to make a self-portrait of ourselves. Being with two of my best friends for the first time ever in my art class, we decided to make something great. GREAT.
So here's the monster. ^^

The purple half is my "rider" friend, and the red part is my spiritual siamese, with her hunter's orange vest.
And, yup, what is that girl in the middle? Me!
...tough you would never recognise me with that, except of the hair maybe.
My friend to the left used a projector to make herself (and the other made herself totally chibified), but me, I tough "Blah I can surely manage to make myself without it"...but I failed. XD It's so hard on that scale.

...Aaaanyway. So, only the middle part is "mine" (except for a few little thingies I've made on the sides of the others), so it's no really use to make crictical comments about the purple and red part.

Lots of stuff on that, isn't it? It's sad you can't see very well everything I've put in there.
Well, you know what? I'm preparing a splash page of the elements composing my part. My friend (red part) took photos of them, some are not very good, but I'm gonna try my best to make something nice with it.

If you're interested, keep an eye on my gallery, should do that soon! :D

MISC FACTS: -The horse's mane is made out of real horse hair
-The hunter's orange jacket is a real one
-The "theme" was that from left to right came the most "down to earth" to less, symbolized by being drawn as a real portrait or a cartoon. As you can see, I'm half of each.
-The middle part is a toughts bubble filled with things we like and stuff
-The upper part is a depiction of a "beast" that we loved the most. A horse, a dragon (an azure one, Tel'Rhadena is her name and she's one of my oldest character, believe it or not) and finally a phenix
-My friend to the left as now cut her part and brought it back home. As for the two of us left, our parts were too entangled for a possible seperation, we left it on the wall of our schools for the next generations to admire
-The whole thing was done vertically on a wall
-We used coloring pencils, graphite pencils, marquers, china ink, wet pastels, shalks, dry pastels, paint and lots of collage
-Our art teacher was a little dissapointed it was not even bigger...

CelebrenIthilHeheh, yup, there's the eye of Sauron right beside me. ^^
I think it is the part that I used the most mediums on; oil pastels, black ink, markers, highlighter pens and coloring pencils...

Ceres_de_RehkaOh mon dieu. C'est magnifique! J'adore les couleurs, et est-ce qu'il est Ashram que je vois au droit du dragon?

Ahhh, sorry. I really wanted to comment in french, but I'm really bad at it. Anyway, this is amazing. The amount of detail is just awesome, and I'm having so much fun trying to pick out all of the little characters you've drawn.

Great job!!! *heart*

CelebrenIthil((I apologize for the lateness of my reply, I've moved to college and have problems with internet right now...))

Hey, your French's pretty good! ^^ The only little thing: "est-ce que c'est Ahsram" instead of "est-ce qu'il est Ashram" and "à droite du dragon" instead of "au droit du dragon". But these are minimal errors, we understand very well what you're saying. You're not bad at it! ^^
Actually I'm very glad you tried! :D Thanks!
I've finished the splash page of these little details you're probably all hurting your eyes to see, I'm gonna upload it while my internet connection seems to work again.
(oh well that's so funny at the moment I wrote this sentence my connection died again. Oh well, as long as I'm not going out this page I can keep on typing until it comes back. ._. ..... ........ ........ ...... Oooh! Reconnected! Quick, submit message! O_o"")

RedPaintWoah, that's freaking AWESOME! And wow that's a long time for a project, but it came out really nicely. I like the contrast of the different styles also.
