Description

Description
CRwixey
The name's derived from the words eagle and eerie.

Sketched with a 0.3 mechanical pencil, inked with 0.1 drawing pen, coloured with felt tips and metallic pens. Background added with Microsoft Photo Editor and Microsoft Paint. Comments welcome! :)

This feathered fiend's wings are formed from a pair of ribs, bent upwards in the shape of a bow. The bow’s "arrow" protrudes from the rocket-like head, forming the beak. They have an internal radar system that enables them to track down opponents in the blink of an eye.
Its feathers are actually razor-sharp blades, which can rotate 180 degrees so they can slice objects whilst on the wing. Not surprisingly, most avoid Eereagle like the plague.

Eereagle (c) CRwixey.

_ren_tao_fan_This is a very cool-looking Pokemon, and that's saying a lot because I'm really not that big a fan of Bird types. :D (I prefer Fire and Electricity.)
And you gave it such an interesting description as well!

MacalaniaManCOOL!
With such a detailed description, it's almost like it SHOULD be a REAL Pokemon.

jny016O.O just O.O gotta love the silver and gold pens! i love your choice of colors! and the pose (again). i reckon you must be very well with poses coz you draw lots of amazing pokemons :)

CRwixeyThanks! ^^

Some poses take forever to get right, I try to vary them as much as I can, 'cause it would get boring quickly if everything was drawn facing in the same direction, in the same position.

Tuxedo_Mini_MaskOMG! I love this one! skarmory was always a mess in my eyes, but i always liked the idea of a flying steel type! this one totally makes up for skarmory's lack of coolness! I LOVE IT! xD

CRwixeyThanks, Leo! Glad you like it. :)
I never quite knew what to think about Skarmory, his head still reminds me of a golf club... his wings were nice, though.

TheHexGirlsnow thats cool, he'd be one I'd avoid, (Birds + me = BAD) thats why I don't keep hold of many bird pokemon. I have about three, an altaria, a swellow, and a shiny pidgot. :D

CRwixey on July 8, 2009, 8:27:21 AM

CRwixey on
CRwixeyA shiny Pidgeot? Wow, lucky! I'll have to make do with the shiny Bellsprout I caught back in Pokemon Silver... I know you don't like birds, maybe you could use your Llamageddon to knock it out...

TheHexGirlslol. XD I caught Medi (pidgot) not five minutes into the game. XD

CRwixeyWow... the closest I ever came to something like that was at the start of Leaf Green, where I found a shiny Mankey. He eventually evolved into a shiny Primeape, but he was completely rubbish. ^^'

TheHexGirlsmine was also in leaf green. :D I also gots two shinies in plat. (medicham and....chimecho :D) um, and a shiny in pearl (golbat.) I think I also got another thiny, but be damned if I can remember. o.o or if I even HAVE another.

rolla_roachWow...that is one scary-looking Pokemon! Very neat design! I made a steele/flying type similar to this called Scavulture; but, of course, the appearance is 100% different! I'm totally digging this Pokemon. I think it's my favorite of yours so far. Very original design concept. That'd make one awesome action figure!

CRwixeyThanks! :)

I thought at first it might be too similar to Skarmory... there's just something cool about Steel-Flying Types. I'd like to see an action figure Eereagle...

Tuntun422On a scale of 1-10 I give this a 14+.

It's a spectacular blend of traditional mediums & computer art.

CRwixeyIt's very kind of you to say that, but I feel it's more amateurish than stunning. Every time I place a drawn picture on top of a photo background, I get these annoying white borders around the character.
It takes longer trying to cover them over with the mouse than it does drawing the thing in the first place...

CRwixeyThanks! ^^

I promise, this is the last Pokemon that needs to be avoided, I'm going to draw some un-scary squirrels soon...
