Dark angel/Light devil

A play on the devil/angel stereotypes...

I almost feel I took it too far - the wings really don't match the owners' weapons and accessories. (but I've grown to love the idea!)

It's easy to tell which part was drawn in Oct/Nov 03 and which was drawn Feb 04 - I've gotten a lot cleaner with my shading in the last few months by using crosshatching...

I can't fix what I want to with the girl on the left, there have been so many alterations to her pose that the paper doesn't allow clean erasing anymore. I'll take it into Photoshop and do something cool with it, eventually.

No references of any kind were used for this drawing. Everything from bodily structure, poses wings and weapons - EVERYTHING was created through trial and error over the last four months.

And then torn in half by my three year old daughter less than an hour after scanning it. ^_^

Contains a slight bit of nudity, but I didn't draw in any details to classify this as potentially offensive nude work. Comment or email me please if you feel otherwise!
