I dunno' about the category seeing as how I'm not really sure what these things are in the first place. Any suggestions about where I should move it to?
Anywho, this is one of my more ... "normal" paintings, that is, it's NOT oil and it's basically all experimentation. My teacher wanted to see me try to combine my line style into my paintings and this was born from it. I really do like it, and have been using the techniques I learned from it since. It's not too old...maybe back in May or something. I still like it, though, which is rare. >_>
Inspired by: Chrono Cross OST (Mostly Time Scar and Jellyfish Sea, as noted by the title). Violinist of Hameln, as well. <333
18"x24" canvas: Acrylic paint, Sharpies, Copic markers, Prismacolor pencils

Yes, I suddenly got over my ineptitude with digital cameras and tried it out. That and I was unbelievably bored.
And heck, there were silver effects? ::grabs painting:: I see none here...course it's been sitting in the corner of the office since I got it, so it may have disappeared. XD
Anywhos, thanks for the comment!

This title made me squee with glee. X3
Goodness. I love it. (Though... where I got the music, the title was Time's Scar...)
OH GOD I love this, however you did it. D: The effect is stunning. It looks kinda watercolor-y to me, but better. XD;
I love the varied shades thrown in with the blue and gray, and the two characters are beautiful~ I love their shading, and the 'wings,' and-and-and well it's just amazing everywhere. All over the place. ;_;
I love your art. <3<3<3

::looks up song:: Crap..it IS Time's Scar...hm. I was too lazy to check it before putting to title up. >_>
And it's a lot like using watercolor. I just water down the acrylic so much that it's nearly transparent and then build the painting up in layers...really tedious, but I love the effect. XD
Heh, thanks again for the comment!
