Knowing Kurama's outstanding ability to survive just about anything, I wouldn't be surprised if he continued living without his head, you know? This is making me think... You know how in episode eight, The Three Eyes of Hiei, Kurama takes a sword to the gut but he can still walk just fine? Then how come in episode fifteen, Genbu, the Stone Beast, when Kurama gets a reasonably shallow cut on his side, he is limping and unable to properly fight (according to Hiei). Later, though, in episode ninteen, Suzaku, Leader of the Saint Beasts, he is leaping and running about, fighting cultivated humans? Come on! He seems to have selective invincibility, you know? Well, not technically invincibility, since he does bleed all over the palce (see episode fifty six, Yoko's magic), but the injuries don't seem to have that many side effects. Plus, in episdoe thirty eight, Kurama's Stand (possibly my favorite episode!!!) he has that one really not fun injury that I don't want to mention because I try my best to avoid plot spoilers, but later, when he's fighting Ura Urashima (episode forty seven, Legendary Bandit: Yoko Kurama) he's back to being totally unscathed and perfectly fine, although it was only a day or two. Compare this to Hiei's burnt arm, which troubled him pretty much all throughout the Dark Tournament's first half. Even though Hiei's afterimage is indestructable (see episode forty four, Yusuke's Final Test and the second movie, Poltergeist Report). Am I the only one who notices these things?

Seems to me that Yusuke doesn't believe it the power of Kurama since he never let's him fight a true battle of his own. So let me get this straight, they're allowed to kill their opponents, but they don't like it when Kurama is about to byte the dust??? Wha's the matter, afreid that he may break a nail?

I don't think Yusuke's attention span is long enough for him to remember/notice/care about this, all he seems to care about is beating people up, flipping Keiko's skirt, and arguing with Kuwabara, Genkai, and, to a much lesser degree, Hiei. Therefore, he actually believed Kurama's life was in danger. And if it was, maybe his selective semi-invincibility only works while he's conscious. You never know.
