Whew! I finally got this colored! I don't think I've ever put this much time & effort into coloring one drawing before. But I guess the new technique I figured out with my markers got me so excited that I had to see just how good I could do with it. This was almost kind of scary for me too since I've never colored a drawing without penning it. But I really had a lot of fun doing this, & it is now one of my most favorite pics that I've done (not to mention the first one I've actually been proud of to use as my desktop background). C3 Hope you like it!

wow, this is stunning! i love the mixture of markers and pencils, looks amazing. and the way you did this pic with out lineart makes it really appealing, and stands out on the page. the background is wonderful aswell, i love the water! the detail is just so amazing! i went to an art shop, and discoverd som markers. i trid em out, they were so good. like if you coloured in a big blog, it came out all smooth, with no uneveneness (don't think thats the right word) but yeh, i really want some but they are so expensive!
but anyways, another flawless picture. keep it up!

Tell me about it! I would buy some now, but if I bought some, I'd want them all & my pocket book would hate me (more like strangle me O.o) But for now these brush pens are working pretty good. I like them more & more each time I use them! & thanks for the comment! I would be flattered if you used this as your background! C3 Thanks!

Thanks! & that's Great how you're working with mixing Markers & pencils. That's one of my more favorite ways to color! C3 I used a combination of Tombow duel brush pens & blender, Crayola markers, & my Mechanical pencil to color this. But I've found that it isn't so much the materials you use (though they do help) It's more of how you use them that make a good drawing. Though I'll admit that the brush pens were a lot easier to use on this than the Crayola markers. I can do all the details a lot better with the fine end of the pen, & cover all the bigger areas a lot quicker & more evenly with the brush end.
Thanks again for the comment! I hope this was helpful! C3

The shading is beautiful along with the coloring. And the backround is just stunning, and not only that but you put Fluffy off to the side to help you notice it. That's a good tatic right there. Everything just screams epic when it comes to the detail to this. Very well dones x3
