Here's a tribute to Einstein, one man that gave a lot to science, a man I admire a lot. This drawing means a lot to me. It is also my entry to the SKOTW 84 - My hero.
I entered this in Digital Paintings and Airbrushing, and I will probably do that for my next portraits also. They're not really drawings with lines anymore. I could reproduce something alike with traditional paint if I wanted... know what I mean ?
It was not easy to do... I spent so much time on Einstein's face ! It's not 100% alike, and I don't really mind. If I would have wanted that, I would have passed more hours on it. And it wasn't my goal. What was hard was to switch the shadows without changing too much his face. Light coming from beneath. On all his photos (and it's the case for most people also), light is coming from above. It was a great challenge. If you're wondering what he's holding in his hands, it's an atom of hydrogen. Why hydrogen ? Because I was too lazy to draw other electrons spinning around. And one only looked good. So there it is :) Hope you guys like !
