DEMON FLOWERS! I think I'm in love... <3
Yes, so I bought Demon Flowers. Without even knowing what it was about. I said "OMG MIZUKI HAKASE, I SHALL BUY MY FIRST!"
This is all your fault, Allison. I just want you to know that. [Not that I don't love you all the more for it. <3]
Any case, this was drawn in one straight sitting. Except 15 minutes. I thought I was done, but came back and cleaned a few things up... But ugh, It was 4:20 when I finally got to go to sleep... I think I started it sometime around 12:30... But it was a labor of love <3
And yes. I attempted Mizuki Hakase's style, positioning, and foreshortening all in one picture. It's amazing I'm still even alive. [I'm quite new to all three of these concepts, after all...]

You've read it?! Ah, have you read volume 2, by any chance? If not, I'm not sure how you can begin to call it messed up. Though half way into volume two, I can see it crossing people's minds... D=I love Demon Flowers... >.> <3

Yeah, actually I was surprised my attempt at her style came out even somewhat decent. But Ushootora[far right] gave me hell. That position is impossible, let alone in HER style. Dx Damn you Ushootora, it suits the bastard that you are. But Hakase-sama forces us to love you anyway... =__+
Especially when paired with Masato-kun. >.> <3333333~!

I've been meaning to read that series for awhile; it any good (well, obviously YOU like it, but would I?)?Anywho, I think you got down what you tried out fairly well. My favorite has to be the guy on the far right; his expression SCREAMS Mizuki-influence. <3

Okay, so said guy on the far right is Ushootora. A bit like Ororon, personality wise. Not quite so bad, considering he's not the king of hell. But he killed Masato's entire family.
Masato~ <3 He's the kid in the middle. He's a Kuruizaki no Hana, and hence has little powernes, though the only think he can do better than Ushootora is play the piano. He always smiles though, no matter the situation, he's positively adorable.
Anycase, Ushootora was an assassin for the "Family" whom eat the flesh of the Kuruizaki no Hana in an attempts to become immortal. He randomly decides he's gonna leave the family and take this four year old Kuruizaki no Hana with him [Masato =D].
Nao, the girl on the left, they pick up later. She's an orphan. And Himeko, whom isn't pictured, is a round puff ball bunny thing that eats flowers.
