Nanayea i love charcoal work! its my 2nd fav medium after soft pastels ^-^ this one is very nice ^-^ gd job!

BillyYongCharcoal is actually a wonderful and very expressive medium. Sure it's dirty and messy but whats beautiful about it is once you get used to it, the excess particles can be of great help. Whats more, thanks to my lecturer, I've learned about how that expressiveness can be brought forward. Simply using the side of the charcoal stick instead of how you would a pencil, these rich, beautiful lines can bring about a stunning image.
Anyway, you're right about the mistakes. It was only after completing the whole picture did I notice it. Needless to say, I was rather disappointed. The same lecturer however, said that he liked it the way it was, since the point of the assignment was to draw a funny face. And this stretching made it more comical. Funny enough, I'd have to agree with him. ;p
