Iridescent

Okay! First off, history. This picture is Eshe and Ryes, two characters from my book, Iridescent. Why does Eshe look a lot like my other character, Maeve? This is her, only her younger self. . . With her Egyptian name. . . (long story). I won't go to further detail other then Ryes is Eshe's tutor, Eshe being the next one in line for title of Pharaoh. There's a plot to make Ryes pharaoh, which he knows of and wants, which Eshe overhears and runs away. Ryes doesn't know of her disappearance until much later, and when he found out, he turned into Pharaoh, making him somewhat dazed. . .

Eshe loved Ryes very much. Ryes did also, but not as strong as hers. They have a six year age difference, yet they meet again 10 years later. How old are they in the picture? Eshe may be 12 or 10 in the picture, making Ryes 18 or 16.

Why the background? Iridescent means lustrous, rainbow like colors; which is why I did it like that.

I like the coloring, but Eshe's proportions are a bit off, and I think I over did it with my opaque paint marker on the dots. Click on picture to see a bigger version.
