Super Kogepan!!

Description

Toasty! Maybe those naughty red bean buns will think twice before taking the mickey out of Kogepan again... ^^

Sketched with 0.5 mechanical pencil, inked with 0.3 Staedtler drawing pen, coloured with dry watercolour pencils. The smoke coming from the toaster and the toaster have some metallic pen detail.

Darn background wore the red pencils down to stubs... ever tried to sharpen a pencil stub? Arg. ><

Oh wow, I love the design so much! The idea of him shooting out of the toaster, and the superkogepan-related background... simply awesome!

Thanks! I don't have any Photoshop-like programs, so I couldn't get the computer to do it all for me even if I wanted. :)

hahaha! this is great! Its nice to see someone actually crafting an image from scratch, using different mediums and techniques to get what they want, v.s. relying solely on a computer to do it for them. Nice job!
