Edit: I take commissions so if you'd like me to draw something for you, just ask here or through my email at SteveDanielson02@gmail.com
I've had this profile for 6 years and have completely forgotten about it until today at 12:39 p.m, September 6th, 2007.
I'm attending Nossi College of Art and Design. Its a pretty cool place. Small, but very well respected in the field so I'm hoping good things come of it.
I play guitar in several bands which will remain nameless since this is a place for my art, not music.
Peace!
-Steve

Hey!
How have you been? I'm fine, thanks to the school-less week I've been granted =D I don't really have clever things to say. I've put some new photos up on photo-lucidity, visited some museums and have been just about as lazy as necessary.
So, what have you been doing?
Any new cool drawings you desperately want to show me? 0:)

Thanks for answering my question.
Now, after reading your explanation, it's clear why you wouldn't want to give the same texture to a mohawk as you gave to a guitar. The texture (or lack on in the mohawk's case) separates the two different aspect of the picture. Plus, it catches the observer's eye and gives them something (if they're OCD, like me) to muse over. I always enjoy finding pieces of art that make me think.

No, no it wasn't too long at all! I do not really know what to say, but I guess "thankyou" would do... right?
Your story is more than awesome. And true. I hope/believe my art will improve up to the point where I am satisfied and ready to make my job out of it. It will be another 3 or more years until then, so I'll have plenty of time. And I could always study something else, and keep drawing as a hobby. Who knows, I might attend art classes later.
Thanks so much for your inspiring words.
As I said yesterday, I'm going to the metalparty now!
~Bye!

Thanks for your comment :) Honestly, I must say I'm not patient at all, and not even with those photos. I just happily roam around the garden, holding my camera and when I see something I like it's just like *click* and then I just continue the process =D
And about the rose, it's just really rare (as you said)
I was kinda lucky, and it is my best shot, I think.
I guess I like photography as much as drawing and writing =D
At school we had to choose the subjects/classes for next year. So I took a lot of art, a lot of languages and some economic things.
NO MATH! Lol. I hate math. Seriously. I always seem to find a way to draw my way out of the boring maze of numbers.
It will be another three years until I finish school, and then I will have to choose further education. That means I will have some time to think about it. I could choose some kind of art acadamy, but I think that's a bit of a risk. You're not really sure you will find a job, or at least that's what I'm being told by everyone. I would love a job like yours, but I'll have to get better!
Next, I could study a language, like english or dutch. (I'm from holland) But then again, that sounds kinda boring to me. And I'm lazy. Lol.
And last, I could choose for something economic. I love big discussions, and I can be fierce if the subject is interesting to me. Something with commercials would be cool too, but then you come back to the design part.
Decisions, decisions =D Does this count as spam?
Anyways, I'm slowly moving towars my bed now. I've had a long day, and tomorrow I'll be having a metal/rock fest =D
The next day another metal/rock fest and then it will be my mum's birthday as well =D Ok I'm really going now. Cheers!
