So which one is the shiny?

If I had to guess it would be the one on the right. ^w^
It sounds like the name has the word "Copper" in it and the one on the left appears to most resemble copper so it would be logical to think that the one on the right is the shiny. ^w^

^^ Good guess, I wanted to use the copper-headed one for the shiny, but both of them lost a lot of detail when I shrunk them down, so I ended up making the shiny version green.

Its name does sound similar to "copper" but was derived from Coprinus comatus, the Latin name of a particularly poisonus toadstool.

Neither, the shiny version's green... the regular one's mauve. I wanted to use the copper-haired one originally, but these ones don't look too good when they're shrunk down to sprite size.
