Description
The name's derived from the words springbok and robot.
Sketched with a 0.3 mechanical pencil, inked with 0.1 and 0.3 drawing pens, coloured with metallic pens and dry watercolour pencils. Background added with Microsoft Paint. Comments welcome! :)
Unlike gazelle, Springbot can’t run. Instead, they jump everywhere using their spring-loaded legs. Many can reach heights of eight feet or more; their tough metallic hides and hooves help absorb the impact of landing on hard ground.
Springbot are amazingly agile, considering they’re Steel Types. Their bodies appear to be made of a super-light metal which is similar in structure to aluminium, making them speedy, water and rust proof. Oddly, their tails are composed of emerald-coloured flames. As they never seem to overheat or malfunction, they’re likely to be heatproof as well.

^^ Almost, he's more gazelle or springbok than reindeer... actually, that's given me an idea... ^_^ thanks!! Springbot's not very cuddly as he's mostly made out of wire and silicon chips...

Thank you! :)I used to do most of these pics in felt tip, but somehow ended up using pencil a lot more now. It's much easier adding in the extra details with pencil...
