Trying out some custom brushes in SAI and really looking forward to getting a tablet so that I can draw with something more accurate than a touchpad and my finger. Maybe then the bushes wouldn't look so... puffy? :\

FirielAh, but the "puffy" just means it looks like you have rolling fog...

CRwixeyIt could be... I can't say I've ever seen any purple fog, but then if you can have bottle green mountains there's no reason you couldn't have some...

FirielMm. On the other hand, green tones from vegetation being prominent on mountains just might be more common than sunset colors lying that low and not in direct sunlight and in possibly the wrong time of day... ah, well. I guess my hypothesis need not mean earth-natural rolling fog. ;)

cottonboonOh man, this look really neat. By custom brush, does that mean you made it yourself? Because it looks really awesome!

CRwixeyThank you! :)

I just messed around with the standard brush settings... I'm not sure if that counts as a true custom brush, but they don't look like the standard brushes anymore so I suppose they are...
