Hot Water Bottle Fairies

Description

Started this pic at the beginning of April, then left it for a while because I got "stuck" on the background. I eventually finished it today. Hopefully the water bottle fairies haven't got lost in the darker swirly bits...
I was going to add some very faint colour digitally, but decided it looked better colourless in the end.

B2 and B4 pencil.

Oh, they are still sufficiently visible. ^_^ And adorable. They look like they should have their own cartoon, and that their licensed merchandise should include Hot Water Bottle Fairie plushies and Hot Water Bottle Fairie baby blankets.

I'm glad the bottle fairies are still visible. I've found that pictures done in pencil don't seem to scan well, no matter what I do to the settings.
The baby blankets and plushies sound like a very good idea! I'd really like a miniature, usable hot water bottle plushie that you could warm up in the microwave (though I hate the idea of microwaving something like that). :s
