YAY! It's Spyro! I've been thinking about him lately and decided to see how dumb Spyro: A Hero's Tail was. It's not that bad, but it can be a LOT better. But it just made me mad how they made this "newer" Spyro move. Somehow that made me want to draw him my way. So I decided to test out my style on Spyro, and he turned out ok, I think. Oh, and also in the game, the other dragons that kinda looked like Spyro kinda ticked me off too. (Ember was totally annoying pulling the little cutesy-wutesy thing on Spyro acting like an 8 year old having a crush on a high-school student. Flare, I just wondered why he was in that lair in the first place) But dispite how annoying Ember was, I want to see more of them! Spyro can't do all this work by himself, y'know?! Why can't they let other pint-sized save the world too? I mean, Blink doesn't help any (he's the STUPIDEST new member I've ever seen and also an excuse just to get people to play, I think. I mean his personality is really overused when it comes to kiddy games. The "I'm ALWAYS up for a challenge" people are used way too much. Sure, they're good role models, but they get tiring after a while.) Hunter does kick @$$, but why hasn't he found his running shoes yet?! My GAWD! The world of Avalar wasn't SO HUGE you can lose a pair of shoes big enough to fit THOSE feet! Yeesh! XD Sgt. Byrd is cooler now that he has a jet-pack, but I do miss Sheila (i think she was the coolest new character in Year of the Dragon XD Sue me, she just goes to show you how kick-@$$ kangaroos are) BUT ANYWAY. I liked seeing more dragons like Spyro, finally proving that Spyro isn't the only dragon his age XD So I made Sizzle (i'm not done with the game yet, but if there's another Spyro-like dragon named Sizzle in this game, I'm gonna sue) So....yeah. This doesn't mean I'm gonna start drawing Spyro dragons like a crazy maniac. XD

I remember the game Croc! It was fun (but pretty difficult, too), though Croc 2 ruined the series.
But back to Spyro. I don't believe Hero's Tail was bad, it is just too late. That's what Enter the Dragonfly SHOULD have been. I didn't entirely care for the new art style, but overall it was better than the first. Sgt. Byrd's jetpack makes a lot more sense than his bare-winged flying in Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon; Blink may not have been too unique with his abilities, but his levels were pretty fun (and occasionally tough). Hunter, there's where I didn't like the new art style very much, but he played like a dream (I especially like the subtle things like Hunter's stance when standing still). Spyro's flight mechanics were better and more precise than they've ever been (his double-jump may seem redundant, but it actually increases his flying range), and his multi-breath attacks actually worked like different attacks (e.g. waterbreath could only kill fire-type enemies, ice-breath could freeze almost anything, lightning breath was very accurate and long-ranged). So while the game isn't all that it could have been (you know how I feel about it, artistically ;)), it still does everything it set out to do.
