These are Blood and Wing as humans. In the story, they're both the last surviving members of rival clans, and honor-bound to slay each other for their lost families. He's the only warrior who can one-handedly take Wing down.

Of course, it's sort of not fair because she only has one kitsune tail and he has eight. :P
