sweet!!! you know, i kinda do the same thing sometimes. i'll look at a character and draw basically the same pose, but change it so it looks like my oc ^^ mostly with my sonic pics ^^

oh wow this looks brilliant, ash looks exactly right, the proportions and everything are perfect. also i luv the pokemon letters at the top great job!
hey and don't worry about using other pictures as references, countless people do it, and so do I! i've neva been too good my self with getting proportions and everything rite, thats why i copy. i've been kinda trying to do my own poses, theres a coups of them up in my gallery, but they take me ages >.<
i've had so much homework lately its rediculous, i havn't been able to draw anything i want to in ages, it suks...do u get much homework? ur the same age as me

Thanks a bunch. That's really good to know. It's the first Pokemon pic I've posted on this site and evryone seem to love it. I'm really glad that you think the proportions are right and everything. I drew it on the first day of this years summer vacation and I really don't know how it turned out like this. And yeah, homework is one thing that I do not need no more. A stupid principal just joined the school last month and ever since then that guy made a rule of torturing us students with like... 8 assingnments a day. So... all of us guys have had it and so we stopped doing it no matter what the detention or whatever punishment he makes up. That's the reason I'm not doing so well with my pics. But I have a kakashi pic upcoming and I think you'll love it. I'll tell you when it's done okay.

Yeah dead serious. You can't ban them cuz the guy's a retired millitary officer or something. He'll probably put me in jail lol. Anyways yeah, Kakashi's from naruto and he's awesome. I reaserched about the guy and found that we have the same birthday... YAY!

Thanks a lot. It's rare... most people say that my ability to recreate art is just copying without any creativity. Anyways... I am trying to draw my own original character. It's almost done so I'll inform you I guess.

Yeah, it's a bit of a scary ability, but scary in a good way :D You're pretty awesome dude, if you don't mind me saying. Your DBZ pics were fantastic too, and also made me remember that nearly everyone on the show had the same face structure :P I think that's what I miss most about the series XD Like Alicifer, I wouldn't mind seeing some original stuff from you.
