Mantis

Okay a few things i dont like about the drawing are the hand, definately, and the butcher knife. I would've worked on them a little longer if i had the time but again this is due today so i had to rush it.

Anyway this my character Mantis, a character i came up with a while back for the Scarab stories (still on hold by the way) but never got the chance to do a really nice drawing of her until now though i still don't think it's that good, but who knows, there are bound to be people who like it better than i do. One thing new that i tried was smudging with chapstick, and i liked what i got out of it, a whole bunch of interesting shades, granted i only did it for the leg and part of the shirt, but yeah i thought it was cool so i might try it more often, so yeah...comments please
