For some reason, when i saw the title, I first thought of the Sandworms from the movie 'Dune' (The 70's version, I used to have a model of one) and then 'Tremors' ... I don't really remember the one on 'Beetlejuice', I didnt much care for the movie...I like the idea, I doubt anyone else would ever have come up with it.
