I should attempt your pen-on-3D skill! How long does it usually take to get these types of realism pen works done? Do you do a rough draft first?

I do not do a rough draft... I just look at the photo, take a deep breath, and take the cap off my pen. Actually, I would think re-doing what I had already tried to do once would be scarier than the regular way I work. 0.o
How long it usually takes--I don't normally clock it. Estimating? On this one I think maybe 3-4 hours.
