Steampunk Liz

I and some friends were talking about thematically coordinating our costumes for a convention next year, and the discussion turned to steampunk. I thought, "Hm, steampunk... I wonder what so-and-so would wear..." and I began sketching an idea. She liked it, as it turns out. Also, once it was on paper I felt as if the picture looked like it could be a character of its own to fit into an old story idea I had, as well as being brainstorming costumes, so I gave her a name of her own.

Meet Liz Elliot--a gentlewoman who seems capable of taking care of herself.
