Old Took

When I began I thought I would draw Tolkien himself, but my pen had other ideas; and rather than scrap what I'd begun, I decided Tolkien would make a delightful pose-and-shading guide for one of his hobbits. I do not know who the final product is--probably he's some random fellow Shire history does not record.
