Just Beyond the Night Forest

Attempt at a location from the novel The Neverending Story, by Michael Ende.

Grogroman, the Many-Colored Death, sleeps or dies as a stone statue in his palace beyond the edge of the bioluminescent Night Forest until dawn comes and his desert awakens once more.

This book was delicious, but so surreal. Sometimes it seemed like I and the characters were living in a dream.
