very well done. I like that you used different references and put them all together. a lot of artists work from photos these days, I think it's great we can easily get lots of reference photos, but when people base something all on one photo and just draw a picture of the photo, that seems not very creative to me. you did a great job of combining the different elements.

Yeah, I can see your point. If it's all one what you've got is basically a copying practice or recolor exercise - sometimes a fun one, but not super-original. But syncing multiple elements can be a way to get an idea to paper with the power of the photos behind you for shading, to me. ;) I do some of both, and enjoy both. But it did mean more to me to finish her than the average copy-portrait.

From the overall shading, to the magnificent background and details, the expressions and so on! This. Is. Too. Incredible. And- *explodes from overload of awesomeness*

Thank you very much. :) I figured at the time that folks just weren't that interested in a dimly-lit picture of some non-fandom-related couple they didn't know? <.< I'm really glad that you enjoy it, though! :) It took a lot of time, and pencil still feels outside my comfort zone, and I was really happy with how it finally came out. It's kind of you to come ask about it after all this time.
