That's sad. If this site's attempt is anything to go by, you can come up with some fun ideas - and I know you do seriously good work so the prize offer is attractive.
I was hoping this would work out for the sake of precedent at well - I've missed community contests since Lucky's been gone, I used to love the holiday events. >.<

We haven't had a complete turnover in active users since Lucky... although when I think about it there has been quite a bit of shift. I know at least one person whose life got kinda busy and who's been spending what artistic energy he has mostly on a project he's not posting, and another who has been having technical trouble and just doesn't have as easy access as she used to, although otherwise she might want to drop by.

Trades are a good thought, though. :) Generating activity on a case-by-case basis instead of hoping a big draw works.
