Description
In aztec folclore, the evil moon godess Coyolxauhqui, together with her 200 brothers (the stars), tried to kill their mother, the earth godess Coatlicue who was pregnant. When the gods where about to kill their mother, she gave birth to the war god Huitzilopotchli, who fought and killed his brothers and sister in order to save his mother. This pic is based on that story.

You´re right, Lexar. There where 400 brothers instead of 200. My mistake. Anyway, I didn´t knew one of the 400 brothers informed Huitzilopotchli about the attack, so thanks for the info. But actually, he defeated (not scared, but I can´t tell if he killed them or just defeated them) his brothers first and THEN he fought Coyolxauhqui.Lexar on May 30, 2004, 2:46:35 AM

If I remeber correctly it was slightly diffirent. One of the 400 brothers whispered to Hutzilopochi they were going to kill his mother while he was inside her. Right before she was killed, he was born and cut Coyolxaugui into many pieces and threw her remains in a pit. Then he scared away all his brothers. And all that as a baby.<br /><br />
I might be wrong, but I think it might be his uncles too. Not sure about that, it's been a long time since I had to learn it.
