...........Woooooooow. Write me a story, why don't ya! Now that I read your comment, that elbow is seriously annoying me. I don't know how I let that slip... Oh well! I still gotta do your request. I've been busy with marching band & all that junk. ... which reminds me, I didn't do my homework! *runs like mad*

I suppose my previous comment didn't sound right. But oh well, I was just trying to be funny and failing horribly. ;)
Seriously though, it took me a moment to realize but it really does look to me as if he's searching for something in the water. He looks like he's concentrating on something that he isn't looking at and while he could be reaching for the viewer (and their wonderful manly or womanly bosom), he looks like he could also just be in between balancing as he begins to lean over to the side or tries to straighten back up while searching for something on the bottom of a shallow pool/tub of water. :)
I thought the foreshortening was rather nice btw, though perhaps his elbow is a bit too pointy when my assumption is that he's got a good bit of muscle to surround it with. (My elbow is horribly pointy but then again I'm scrawny as a bird. Plus, if it were really very defined then we should see the boney knobs on either side of the "hinge" I think.)
I like it overall though. The shading is nice (his hair is great in my opinion) and the water looks good (even if a think that, oddly enough, it turned out less detailed than his fingernails did.) Then again, we can always chalk that down to the fact that things in the distance end up being less in focus/less distinctive than things in the foreground. ;)
I think perhaps one shoulder looks a little too wide compared to the other but that could also just be due to his torso twisting with one shoulder tilted much more towards the viewer. It's a little hard to tell since his hand is obscuring one pec entirely and his waist seems to be in a more frontal view to me.
He could also be trying not to fall over in general. Heh heh heh. Maybe he's trying to escape the viewers? We HAVE caught him in an awkward moment. He's backing away and trying to keep us at bay with that one hand. XD
Or he's hypnotising us... @_@
*stops applying different interpretations to the artist's will and runs like crazy* XD
