Neat! I really like her design. The hair, outfit, and makeup are realy, really cool! Great job, and lovely coloring! The work is overall awesome! ^^

anyway, Bastet is the goddess of cats (and other things yeah yeah) but most famously known for the Cat part. <br />
I wouldn't trust any encyclopedia that doesn't have that

Thanks for mentioning the egypt knowledge. ^^ Actually, I am in the understanding that Bastet, or Bas (in her cat form, which was supposed to be the form she primarily stayed in), was goddess of quite a few things, as most of the gods and goddesses were -and one of the many things she held rule over were felines. She was also said to be goddess of contentment, dance, sex, and the egyptian equivalent of what today is known as ...stripping...like, onstage...At a strip club. o.O straaange.<br />

So yea, you're right. ^^ I should've mentioned that it wasn't Just kitties, or anything. hehe....But it's strange how the gods and goddesses were to hold rule over more than one thing....and sometimes the things they had power over were completely unrelated in the weirdest ways o.O I'd like to see an egyptian encylcopedia like that, though! I don't own one ;-;
