Here's some other ways Fennec foxes have adapted to the desert. They stay cool in the desert by burrowing in the sand in the daytime. THeir extra large ears help them stay cool. Long hairs inside the ears keep sand from getting in. They have big furry coats because the desert gets really cold at night because desert doesn't keep heat very well. Their thick coats protect it from heat and cold. (I was bored ok? So don't kill me!)
