its a liger. tigons dont get manes cos the lioness doesnt have one so genetics mean to wouldnt get one... it could be a li-tigon( where the mother is a tigon and the father is a lion) or a li-liger (about the same but the mother is a liger)howver the strips are a bit too bold for that so it is a liger...-------------------------------

I've always wondered what a liger looks like. Here's a page talking about tiger/lion hybrids such as them, also talking about the general naming conventions, and with a lot of photos of the hybrid cats, that is, if the odd spacing doesn't mess it up:<br />http://www.lairweb.org.nz/tiger/ligers.html<br />

But anyway. In regards to this drawing I like it, cats are one of my easy faves. The only nit I find is that the back feet look a bit small in comparison to the legs, but perhaps that's to be expected? As drawings go, it's still a good picture with decent shading and texture work.
