A Series of Unfortunate Fanart

I adore Brett Helquist's style of illustration, what with the crosshatching and all... so I drew "my" style of the characters and "hatched" it Brett's way. The result is this unholy spawn you see before you. Might color it someday, but unlikely.

Artist's Note: As some of you clearly didn't understand the warning here, I'll restate it again. I know that this art is not a direct rip-off of Brett Helquist's designs - it is not intended to be. I am drawing these charachters the way I imagined them and I don't care if Sunny only has one curl or Violet looks a certain way on the book covers. This is my style, my concept and my imagination. Deal with it.

Again, don't bother leaving comments about what you think the Baudelaires are supposed to look like or how Mr. Helquist draws them in the books. I'm well aware of this and I prefer to draw them in the way they appear in my twisted little imagination.

I appreciate you keeping your comments on topic of mistakes I made or improvements I could make if I redid the pic. (Violet's eye is a little wonky, the border is crooked -- both of which are true). Basically, please keep your comments reserved for artistic error and accomplishment, should the latter be evident at all.. ~_^
