Whew....finally finsihed him lol this was a lot of fun because it shows how much I've learned over a month ^_^ plus I've been dying to do a realism pic for a long time lol
Okay from what I see I need to work on eyes some more try and make them more realistic and to make the face identical to each side and of course I need to have the head a little larger to balance out the whole image ^_^
I tried something different when I scanned it to help pick up the lighter shading and it actually worked!! This is pretty much how it looks in person well somewhat lol
Sketched and shaded with 0.5mm mechanical pencil
No blending tool was used
Done on regular typing paper

Ok so everything I want to say is pretty much already said by the others here. Great job on a realism picture. It looks great. The bold outline generally doesnt really help when it comes to drawing realistically but for some reason it works in your drawing. It gives it a sense of style. Again great job and keep up the great drawings!

Man, this is just amazing!! This must be one of your best works yet!! The shading is fantastic, particularly on his arm and face. I also love how the shading defines the muscles and everything. The time it took you to shade this was well worth it. Seriously, this is just a beautiful work of art!! Keep up the awesome work ok!! *favs*

This is one outstanding piece of realism, MitchellP! Congratulations! I don't believe you didn't use a blending tool at all!! That is one awesome accomplishment! Yeah, the shading on the whole thing is great and I really love the background which I think helps bring out the whole thing. I love the way you did the hand and even though you don't like his eyes, I really do!
