I needed practice drawing goo so I drew a goo monster. Drawing goo a success? Yes. But, the shading is a failure. (I also noticed I accidentally smudged a couple areas with my selves.) Still have ways to go...

(Hope you all, enjoy.)

TeeJay87I've seen similar creature in "The Scooby-Doo Show" http://scoobydoo.wikia.com/wiki/The_Tar_Monster_%28episode%29 & http://scoobydoo.wikia.com/wiki/Tar_Monster .

As for your drawing, it looks convincing without shading. ;)

Jadislooks really gooey. I think you did a great job on both shading and coloring, but that comes from someone who secretly doesn't understand at all what makes shading good, so I could be wrong. but it looks nice and rounded, and drippy, anyhow.
I'm curious what about the shading seems ineffective to you.
it reminds me of pokemon Grimer

FirielQuite a nice effective goo monster. Reminds me of a character or two I knew in childhood. ;) And the smudging isn't that noticeable, to me.
