How to draw a basic gun..

People have been asking me on how to draw guns! Well, actually, its not that hard! So lets begin!

Step 1:

The butt...

Heh, i said butt! ^^

Aaaaaanyway... The grip handle of the gun is the most important thing to get it right. As you can see, its almost shaped like

a question mark. Not a hard thing to do, so just put your pencil on paper and draw the...... thingy....... -_-'

Step 2:

The completion of the handle...

Ok, as you can see, the bottom of that "question mark" thing is round. Draw a straight line down the bottom. Dont make it too

wide though, otherwise it will look weird. Then make a small turn and then draw a straight line up following the perspective

of the the straight line you drew in frame 1.

step 3:

Beginning of the cock....

..... That sounded weird.....

Anyway, not much else to say, just draw a straight line.

*tip: Done make it to large or small. It depends really on what type of gun you wanna draw. Just dont make it look like

some..... artillary gun.... -_-' *

Step 4:

The trigger!

Woot! Triggers!

Just draw 2 simple lines point up, draw the handle to the..... eehm... cock......

( Seriously, why is it called like that........? O_o )

Then make a trigger shape like thing in the top right corner of the "box" you created!

Step 5:

Start of a barrel!

Draw a 45 degree straight line on the..... line, make it a small one then make one going straight up, a bit larger then the

45 degree one.

( Seriously, im not gonna say...... "cock" anymore...... Oh crap, i just did.... -_-' )

Step 6

Shell ejection thingy thing...

Draw a small box. It should be something in the middle of the trigger. Look at the yellow line of the frame to see what i

mean.

Step 7

Details!

Draw a straight line from the 45 degree line. Then make it go up and end somewhere in the middle of the ejection thing.

Step 8:

Just draw a straight line from the top of the ejection shell thing and connect it to the 45 degree line.

Step 9:

Add a few lines for grip on the.... Reload thing! Also, draw a small inner line in the shell ejection thing.

( Honestly, im not gonna say... "it" anymore! ^^ )


Step 10:

Eyesights!

Just follow the examples. It looks almost like 2 step stairs. And at the end of the barrel, make a pyramid like shape, but

make it round at the tips.

Step 11:

Make a grap thing in the handle. It doesnt suppose to be black. Silver or dark grey is cool too. Hell, even pink, whatever,

its your gun. ^^

Step 12:

Colour it the way you want. Most of the guns are silver with black and dark grey. Just experiment with colours and when your

happy with it, your all set... ^^
