The leaves depicted in here look very realistic! Both the shades and textures are what one would expect a plant to look like. But why stop there? It's as if the plant was going so beautifully down till all of a sudden there's a sudden stop with no continuity whatsoever.
My two cents would be to let the plant's stem from a vase. Anythin'g better than a sudden cut in the picture.
The kanji also needs more work. your 'kami' needs to be a little more elongated, wheras though your 'kaze' is fine, it's too squarish, and both need more life in them. They're also not in line.
On the hand, the background pink is very pleasing combined with the green. And the overall picture is very eye-catching.
