Just a picture of zigzagoon and linoone. Nothing too special, here...<br />

I was trying to base the zigzagoon more off the tanuki (raccoon dog), since that's what's given as its species in the japanese games ("Mamedanuki"...either " loyal tanuki" or "healthy tanuki", one of those two). However, I think I made it look TOO doglike. >_< Ah well, it's still cute.<br />

The linoone looks okay, considering I haven't really drawn one, before. =P

Very adorable. There is obvious careful attention to the finer details, such as the fur, the lighting and shading effects involved. It's also refreshing to see that you have some background information about this pokemon's inspirational origins. Most people think that zigzagoon is just based off of the "European" raccoon when in fact it more closely resembles the asian raccoon-dog. I can see the "dogness" of your zigzagoon, but rather than detracting from it, it adds an interesting charm that the simple GBA images cannot convey. Also, if mamedanuki really does mean "loyal tanuki" then the dog-likeness should in fact be a plus! Think about it, the loyalty of a dog, but the appearance of a tanuki.... something interesting to think about, ne? I love this!
