Haha.. Okay, I have to admit, the first name that came to my ehad when I read the word "Ocean" in your description was Kai... I've always loved that name, but I don't really think he suits it.

For some reason, the colour..s.. of his hair make me think his name should be..softer sounding. Maybe something like Umi
or Maji, going along with the "ocean" theme.

Okay... since he looks slightly like he really means what he says and as you said, he reminds you from sea/ocean, I think I try having that 'kai' fitted on it somehow... So something harsh, but yet good and cool enough not to be.. well.. too harsh.

What i come with 'kai' on the name are following (you get to pick one you like):
Fekair, Lukairo, Geikainro, Kainar, Daikain, Mernakai, Hikai, Nirdkai, Xekainre

Ones without 'kai' on them are following i come with are following:
Geiran, Ferwan, Berqan, Nocren, Kardyar, Nexrai, Fenyan, Gordair

Hmm.. Would the name Kaikane work? It's Hawaiian, but it means "strong sea." U could just shorten it to Kai, which still means "sea..." Just a thought.
