X Wolf

When I look at this it looks great but in my mind I feel that this isn't one of the uberly-awesome pics of the site. Don't get me wrong though, this is pure quality stuff right here. And what you don't see too often (or at all basically...) on FAC that you did VERY well in this pic is lighting. Not just that, we even know where the light is coming from: from above from the moonlight. I have to say, the shading and detail is excellent in this pic, but the complete character model is what makes this pic held back from pure greatness. His feet, face and right leg seem unfinished and runhed, but the wings, pants and shirt are very well done. Same with the enviorment model, the shading and enviorment is executed VERY well, but there's basically no textures in the wall and looks rushed. These are just some things that hold this back from one of the best in this site. I can tell you this though, this is definately one of my favorites of this site, the, "X" earing is a nice touch and the hair is simply magnificent. Same with the shading. If there's one thing you're definately kick @$$ at, it's shading.<br />
So overall, this pic is awesome. There are some flaws here and there, but nothing that doesn't show that you put no effort into any minor detail. Good job and I hope to see more of your stuff!
