Trial by Fire

A scene taken from Resmiranda’s wonderful, glorious Tales from the House of the Moon, a rather epic, deep, often heart wrenching fic that revolved around the two characters in this pic, Sesshoumaru and Kagome.<br />

NOT your average Sess/Kag fic. Not even close.<br />

Easily one of THE best fics I have read online, and definitely the best Inu Yasha fic I have ever had the pleasure of reading. It’s leagues ahead of it’s peers. *_* And I adore it. <br />
The scene is taken from chapter 19, which when I first read it, I loved, soso much! And, well, I didn’t know what to illustrate! And I notice people always seem to pick intimate scenes between Sesshoumaru and Kagome, and whilst I have nothing against those scenes- and love doodling them out myself now- I wanted to do something different. Something no one else had done thus far? This be it. <br />
There are some inconsistencies between the pic and the actual scene in the chapter. I can only blame this on myself as I basically went on a bit of a splurge and never went to check the actual specifics until I had done the pic. Then it was like, ‘Oh, the dragon spewed WHITE smoke… x.x….. Lovely. ‘<br />
That’s what I get for the lazy.<br />

I think the bow should be way brighter as at one stage the light is likened to a star?( or something similar.) But y’know… bright glowy things that are too bright and glowy means we wouldn’t have been able to see Sesshoumaru and Kagome nearly as well? ;; Really!<br />
Oh! And that dragon IS blue! Only… against the backdrop of the sky he comes out more green. Damnit. Not intentional but, I sort of LIKE him this colour, so never changed it. <br />

The whole thing was sloshed out in Paiinter7 btw. In case anyone is wondering. Took many hours. Has been downsized considerably.<br />
