Ok, this is Raistlin, a black robed mage from DragonLance. It's kind of a weird anime-realistic mix (a.k.a. I got lazy with drawing the nose).<br />

Yes, his skin is supposed to be that color. It's desribed as gold in the book, and I think I got pretty close.<br />

I loooooved doing the hair. Hair is so fun in openCanvas. ^___^ Lol, my mom walked in and she was like, "What is *that*? Looks like it's having a bad hair day!"<br />

Seems a little young. Didn't it say somewhere in the book(s) there was a crystal orb at the top? Raist's robes are black velvet with silver runes, not yellow border thingies. I wasn't expecting his skin to be that yellow, just mildly glowing. Good pic, though.Kari-chan on June 24, 2005, 11:36:10 AM

Pretty neat coloring on the clothes, but the hand is the winner here. I love the colors you chose for the skin. It looks like he's rotting. All your pictures from this series make it look pretty interesting ^^ And the hair looks neater than mine did when it was long O.o
