I like the expression he's got in this pic. Very somber and thoughtful. It seems you have a good eye for detail, also. Nice job on the shading, too! Some advice that I would give you is keep practicing with facial proportions. Make sure he's got a head under that spiky hair of his. :) The back of his head looks a tad flat.
Overall though, you did a very nice job. Keep drawing!

Great job. i like your picture. I hope you win the contest, cuz my entrys are terrible.
You did a really good job smuding the colors, I like that. And the details on the clothes are good.
