MErmaids just intrigue me... We know much about our neighboring planets, but very little of our own oceans... Could they actually be real? Many have strong oppinions, but nobody knows for sure... Thus, the mystery lives on.
However, I drew this on my random cruise to the carribean with some friends. We were all on the Bow of the ship and I was the only one awake, and as I looked out into the darkness of the water, I was just inspired to draw this. I started it at 3 in the morning and was finished by sunset (a little after 4 in the morning...)
