This is off the manga vol 6. I drew it in pencil and then uploaded it to my computer and did all the painting in PhotoShop. This is my first actual "painting". I simulated the shadows by my own guesswork. There was some quality loss and shape loss from painting, because the bucket grabbed some extra pixels. I had to redraw the inner ear, since it was removed that way. I did the hair glares with a gradient. I also had to smooth everything down with the paint brush. This took a few hours. Hope you guys like it.

i hate all of the coloring on my picies....... but i like the drawings themselves!

Cool! Welcome to the wonderful world of Photoshop. ^_^

You might find it helpful to look up some coloring tutorials - there are tons out there. Reading up on layers will probably be helpful because it'll let you color 'underneath' your lineart. I'd also suggest that you play around with the 'dodge' and 'burn' tools in order to do your shading - I find gradients to be kind of tacky.

Good work here. A little rough around the edges, but hey, you're just starting.
